My brain's a bit mushy right now--I've been organizing our church & school's Silent Auction & I don't know if I'm coming or going. So forgive me for not being very specific about this latest project. It just so happens that I made it for the Sports-themed basket my son's class is donating to the auction.
I housed the little album, made from Outback Steakhouse coasters, in this ancient box. I had it in my closet and the label on it had font from the 1960s I think. Crazy. So, just like last post--finally a use for it! I didn't have to distress it or anything cuz it's legitimately OLD. I just wrapped some paper around it from an old Simply Scrappin' kit. How 'bout that Jumbo Grommet from the new mini-catty?
I used the Crop-a-Dile, Jumbo Eyelets and some office store D-rings to make the album. The paper on the coasters are all from retired Simply Scrappin' kits. This is the cover--thank goodness for the Stamp-a-ma-jig for the All in the Family & Accessories stamp sets!
I also used a bunch of SU! sports stamps & the retired Starstruck in the album too. The sports brads are from Around the Block. I made the pages so that you could stand the album up and display either side.

ReplyDeleteGreat album. I love how you used the jumbo eyelets for the rings!!
ReplyDeleteI love that album! You know, it's funny - I almost didn't buy the All in the family set, because all of my friends who had it said the images never lined up. I guess they just needed a stamp-a-ma-jig! I'm in love with that thing!
ReplyDeleteThis is soooo stinkin' cute! Great job!!
